Schedule: On-call hours, varies (40 hours per week)
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Crisis Counselor works with police departments to provide crisis intervention services to schools, families, and youth in various communities. Services include but are not limited to, home-based counseling to individuals and families, advocacy services, community wraparound, and stabilization services.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and be on call regularly.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS in a human service field
- Prior experience in-group, family and individual counseling required
- Excellent communication and written skills
- A valid driver's license
- Clear driving record
- Reliable transportation (proof of insurance may be needed)
