Courier Job at Fraser Advanced Information Systems
JOB SUMMARY:
Work with all service/supply departments to ensure the parts delivery needs are met. Move all inventory and paperwork throughout all the offices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write the manifest for the day’s run before or the morning of that day’s delivery.
- See that supervisor receives a copy of day’s manifest.
- Pick and pull parts for delivery
- Responsible for all parts to be loaded into the car (see that nothing is forgotten)
- Responsible for seeing that mailbags are placed on truck for delivery
- Responsible for delivery of parts to the Service Technician / office in a professional manner
- Represent Fraser in a polite and courteous manner
- Inform supervisor of any immediate problems
- Responsible for accurate paperwork
- Responsible for seeing that paperwork is delivered to the proper people
- Responsible for vehicle maintenance and maintenance of all equipment used for deliveries
- Keep truck car clean, inside and out, see that all malfunctions are repaired and reported to supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School or GED required
Experience: Entry level, experience with driving a van preferred
Skills:
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to work under stress
- Ability to deal with competing priorities such as service and customer service
Physical Demands: Lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Work Environment: warehousing facility, not necessarily climate controlled
Travel Required: valid clean driver’s license at all times, 95% of travel
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
