Raymond Building Supply, a Division of USLBM, is seeking a counter sales representative to provide great customer service at our North Port, FL office.

Raymond Building Supply, a division of U.S. LBM, one of the largest specialty building materials distributors in the United States operating a network of leading specialty building material distributors across the county with operating locations in 29 states.

Wage: $15-17 (paid on a weekly basis)

How you will spend your day as Counter Sales:

• Provide Outstanding Customer Service over the phone, via email, and in person
• Write customer orders, mill orders and delivery orders and collect payment.
• Assist customers with design and material list for projects.
• Advise customers on lumber and hardware use to include bidding of projects.
• Assist manager in maintaining a clean, organized, properly stocked store.
• Open and close store as directed by manager.
• Assist manager in updating hardware and lumber prices.
• Assist in or complete end of day paperwork.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Counter Sales Requirements:

• Experience. Customer service skills and/or cashier experience
• Knowledge. Previous building supply knowledge (Preferred)
• Communication. Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills
• Education. High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Physical Demands. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs to 50 lbs on a random basis
• Skills. Ability to work as a team, reliable, punctual, able to handle many projects at once
