Job Description:
In its continued commitment to positive global change, TCSES seeks a Coordinator of Global Engagement to support internationalization at our five colleges. Reporting to the Director of Global Engagement, the Program Coordinator is responsible for contributing to the successful expansion of campus internationalization plans for the System, and across all TCS Education System colleges and universities by supporting international education and exchange initiatives for all campus stakeholders.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Support international education through the administration and implementation of study abroad programs, field experiences, international grants, international student and scholar exchanges, and customized international projects.
  • Serve as the Fulbright Program Advisor for all eligible System institutions.
  • Support the administration of Education Beyond Borders, including, site development, budget management, student/staff/alumni registration, and general program administration.
  • Support various revenue-generating global certificates and seminar programs to global partners, students, and alumni.
  • Administer international program safety and risk management processes for all eligible campuses.
  • Maintain enterprise standards for university-sponsored international programs, which include policy administration, process development and maintenance, and educational trainings and orientations.
  • Maintain Global Engagement website and Global Portal, including content management and administration of programs through the Portal.
  • Coordinate Global Engagement promotional materials for sponsored or supported programs and events.
  • Track various events and initiatives for data reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Serve as ARO/DSO, where appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Global Engagement.
Required Qualifications:
  • Lawful citizen or permanent resident of United States, in accordance with DHS requirement to access SEVIS immigration system.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Superior attention to detail with ability to recommend/implement process improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience communicating effectively with people from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Articulate, organized, dynamic, and enthusiastic team player with excellent organizational and management skills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently and anticipate needs for department.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in higher education or student affairs related field, preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with international education programs, experience with in-bound short-term and customized faculty-led programs, preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with SEVIS and student immigration regulations, specifically with J-1 Exchange Visitor regulations, preferred.
  • Experience working with CampusVue and Workday preferred.

  • Ability to travel domestic and internationally on a frequent basis
  • Ability to maintain flexible schedule to accommodate international partner meetings globally
Compensation & Benefits
This opportunity is budgeted at $50,000-55,000 base compensation. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
