Agace's Cooks work in a professional kitchen providing quality food made from local ingredients for patients, families, and staff in our beautiful facility. This is a great opportunity for a new cook to gain experience or a seasoned cook looking for something new.
We provide all the necessary training to anyone interested in helping serve their community through Agrace's mission and values. Just bring yourself and we take care of the rest! Our cooks have the chance to join a kitchen that encourages creativity and rotating menu items created by staff. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Tasks include meal preparation, distribution of a la minute patient breakfasts, and cleaning.
- Meal preparation and distribution for patients
- Set up and tear down of meal cart
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients, families, and staff
- Responsible for kitchen/grocery inventory
This is a part-time position perfect for someone looking to work a few shifts per week. We understand that our staff members have a number of commitments, so it is important to provide scheduling the works for the individual. In this position, we will find hours that work for you! Typical shifts are any day Mon-Fri from 10a-6p OR 2p-6p.
