As the Consumer Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for building and optimizing a sales program that maximizes in-store sales and operational performance at BevMo + Gopuff locations. In this role, you will set store-level sales targets and incentives, build performance dashboards/reporting, track program impact on top line revenue goals, and establish a sales communication structure to focus store teams on day-to-day business priorities. The position will report to the BevMo + Gopuff team in the NA Retail organization and work cross-functionally with Operations, Learning & Development, Marketing, Merchandising, and Finance teams.

You Will:

  • Establish priority sales KPIs that can be driven by our in-store sales teams and drive revenue and profitability growth for our brick-and-mortar sales channel
  • Calculate store-level targets that map to top-line business goals in the BevMo + Gopuff financial operating plan
  • Partner with the Finance team to create incentive structures tied to sales and operational KPIs
  • Develop dashboards to track and communicate store and portfolio level performance to store teams and leadership
  • Mobilize store teams around sales objectives based on day-to-day business priorities (e.g., seasonal products, new product launches, etc.) in partnership with the Merchandising and Marketing teams
  • Partner with the Learning & Development team to equip sales teams with training and tools to meet sales and business objectives
  • Assess opportunities to invest in sales specialist programs and develop testing plans

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in consulting, strategy & operations, or sales operations; high-growth or early-stage startup experience is a plus
  • Solid analytical skills and proficiency in Google Sheets. Some proficiency with analytical tools (Looker, SQL)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both boots-on-the-ground operations teams and senior leadership
  • Excellent prioritization and project management skills
  • Structured and strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, objectively, and rationally
  • Passion for process improvement and thinking creatively about problems and their potential solutions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with limited direction
  • California-based candidates preferred
Compensation
Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. The salary range below reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. For additional information on this role’s compensation package, please reach out to the designated recruiter for this role.

Remote - Salary Range (varies based on a cost of labor index for the geographic area within the United States): USD $83 600 - USD $132 800
