O’Neill Service Group, an Atlas company, is hiring Construction Inspectors for the removal of fish barriers along US 101 between Sequim and Discovery Bay for the Peninsula US101 Jefferson & Clallam Project. Project includes the removal of 6 fish barriers along US 101 to allow migratory salmon and trout to access their native spawning grounds. Barriers will be replaced with fish-passable structures in compliance with Federal and State regulations.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The successful candidate for the Construction QA/QC Inspector position will be responsible for ensuring various constructed elements conform to project drawings, specifications, and material standards.
• Ability to understand and interpret construction plans and specifications is essential.
• Quick learning and strong communication skills are a must.
• The candidate will use a variety of technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills to document complex processes and materials and communicate with engineers, contractors, and owners.
• We are looking for problem solvers and self-motivators.
• Experience working with MEP, post tensioning, parking garages a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Three (3) years’ relevant work experience plus a technical or Associate’s degree, or five (5) years of relevant inspection experience
• Preference to one or more of the following certifications: ICC, ACI, Nuclear Gauge, WABO, WAQTC, and/or CWI
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and navigate uneven construction sites

Compensation:

$32 - $45 Hourly

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
