Job Description Overview:
Promote and maintain a good standing relationship with our primary customer, USPS. Doing so, by monitoring our fleet management and visibility tool called Motive. Motive is installed in every AJR Trucking Inc company vehicle as well as our sister companies’ vehicles. Motive identifies vehicle operator, location and provides customer automated delivery reports. This position requires monitoring, promoting, enforcing, and regular optimization and use of Motive or its similar. This position reports directly to Safety Manager and works closely with Operations Teams and Drivers.

What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day:
  • Monitor Motive adoption, compliance, and enforce usage.
  • Daily monitoring of Unidentified Driving Events Reports.
  • Understand the root cause of Unidentified events. (Driver negligence/Technical/Training)
  • Provide support to drivers for troubleshooting.
  • Respond to drivers in a timely manner.
  • Communicate proactively with Unidentified drivers by phone call, email, or text to enforce compliance.
  • Maintain a log of non-compliant drivers.
  • Maintain a log of technical issues.
  • Prepare/Maintain progress reports for Management.
  • Escalate a driver's need for additional training to respective managers.
  • Escalate non-compliant drivers to respective managers for escalated disciplinary action support.
  • Escalate technical issues to Trouble Shooting Team and maintain follow-up until resolved.
  • Develop a good working relationship with Operations team members.
  • Develop a good working relationship with Dispatch and Safety Team Members.
  • Provide office-related support during downtime or as requested. (Filing, Organizing)
  • Be flexible for Organizational tasks and assignments.
  • Perform other tasks as requested.
Skills We Hope to See:
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Independent, and adaptive to a fast-paced dynamic business environment.
  • Proficient with computer and software applications. (Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Outlook, Excel)
  • Flexible to cover various shifts as operations require such as weekends and overtime.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple office or clerical projects and tasks.
  • Proficient in English for oral and written communications.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations is preferred.
Pay:
  • The pay is competitive, depending on experience ($18.00 - $21.00 per hour), and will be discussed during the in-person interview.
