Position Overview:
Stripe Theory is looking for a communications strategist. This person must possess strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving, keen organizational skills and a passion and knowledge for the digital space. This person will play an integral role in supporting client and project communication, content development (press releases, social media, articles, executive summaries, etc.), research assignments, crisis and issues management, graphic design and digital monitoring and analysis. Working in an innovative, fast-paced and fun environment, this role is ideal for a person who is comfortable working on multiple projects at once and is excited to solve new challenges and pioneer new ways of leveraging data and digital channels for reputation management success. In this role, the candidate can expect to learn all aspects of digital communications and engagement. This role is hybrid and only in-office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities:
  • Messaging and content development for client audiences
  • Define and implement a content strategy and approach for clients
  • Drafting social content for clients in varying industries (social posts, blogs, articles, etc.)
  • Conducting digital monitoring and reporting
  • Staying up-to-date on digital news and trends
  • Coordinating projects with involved team members and clients
  • PR outreach and coordination
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and techniques
  • Serving as project manager for accounts and research projects
  • Providing excellent client service
  • Supporting clients in crisis and issues management

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1 - 3 years of related experience
  • Ability to work on the weekends, as needed for crisis projects
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite, G Suite, and Mac products
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Command of traditional and digital communications principles and strategies
