The Internal Communications team at Asurion is responsible for employee communications, executive communications and issues and crisis management. The team plays a central role in connecting our people with Asurion’s strategy, values, and brand. The team works across every business and function, serving as a strategic partner to shape communication objectives, plans and resulting tactics to drive employee engagement.

We are looking to hire an Internal Communications Manager to support our Customer Solutions (CS) business unit. This role is responsible for managing, developing, and executing internal communications strategies across CS operations. The role is experienced in working with senior leadership, is a creative problem-solver who can convert complex concepts on a variety of topics into easily understood text, deliver on tight-deadlines, is highly adaptable, has strong executive presence and can work in a fast-paced environment. They must be energetic, driven, collaborative, and an excellent communicator. The Internal Communications Manager will design content around storytelling principles and human-centric, inclusive language to personalize the narrative in a way that resonates, is relatable, and captures Customer Solution’s unique culture and values.

As a Communications Manager, Customer Solutions here's what you'll do:
  • Develop, manage, and support end-to-end internal communications strategies and programs for Customer Solutions that deliver on business objectives.
  • Take ownership to identify content that matters and resonates with the target audience – particularly frontline employees.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders – working closely and comfortably with senior leaders.
  • Create content that informs, engages, and empowers while reinforcing Asurion’s brand, tone, and voice across channels.
  • Plan and execute internal events, such as town halls and employee engagement activities
  • Create compelling content that integrates creative design, video, and digital content to bring our internal communications to life
  • Work across the Internal Communications team and other key stakeholders within and outside CS to ensure messages are aligned and coordinated across the company.
  • Influence decisions around message content, positioning, and delivery.
  • Understand and leverage a variety of communication platforms.
Here's what you'll bring to the team:
  • Bachelor’s degree (Communications, Journalism, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, English, Public Relations, or related field preferred)
  • Three to five years of experience preferred
  • Extensive writing experience a must
  • Strong PowerPoint and design skills essential
  • Knowledgeable in developing strategies for employee communications that both inform and engage
  • Ability to research, write, edit, and distribute written communications including emails, intranet content, presentations and executive talking points
  • Ability to own projects end-to-end, take initiative, and leverage problem solving skills to think beyond the task to the outcome that needs achieved
  • Comfortable working with and advising senior leaders of best practices
  • Experience communicating to frontline teams
  • Skilled in collaborating with various partners and stakeholders across the business to ensure informed, timely and consistent messaging
  • Ability to thrive in an independent, fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively as needed
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to plan, track, and calculate communications reporting
