POSITION SUMMARY
Programs, sets up and operates CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications. Utilizes
G or M code and CAM software. Tests accuracy of settings and programs. Inspects parts using precision measuring
tools. Works independently within established procedures associated with the job function.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Programs, sets up and operates CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications.
- Utilizes G or M code and CAM software (MasterCAM, CAMWorks or others)
- Ensure that machines are provided with adequate material in order to complete jobs correctly and
- Operates machines and monitors operation and controls panel displays to detect malfunctions and make
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure product is manufactured according customer specifications.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and production reports as needed.
- Ensure that machinery is working properly at all times.
- Troubleshoot CNC equipment for problems and make the proper adjustments as needed.
- Perform general maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Monitor the quality of the products to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to supervisors and other employees as needed.
- Understand and follow all company policies, practices and procedures.
- Ensure housekeeping duties are performed on the plant floor.
- Follow all plant safety procedures in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others
- Assist other workers as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
