Clinical Psychologist Consultant Job at Community Missions, Inc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Participates and reviews all referred cases to ensure clinical suitability, including recommendations. Responsible for review of all current admitted youth, ensuring continued clinical appropriateness. Makes recommendations after review of any/all clinical documentation and verbal reports; Conducts collaborative supervision with supervisory and case management staff to provide support, review decision-making challenges, provide feedback and discussion regarding problem-solving; Acts a s a resource to provide written review and recommendations for suitability for any participant or family, in regard to Court or Social Services reports as needed or requested; Provides clinical input and support for the Utilization Review process in the agency; Completes Employee Assistance Consultation and Interventions as directed by Associate Director or CEO. Completes written reports as directed. Submits Monthly Billing Record timely.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Phys.D.) from accredited university and NYS Licensure; Trauma Treatment experience; previous youth and family counseling experience; Suicide Risk Assessment knowledge; Residential Treatment experience; NYS State Central Registry Clearance, NYSOMH Fingerprint Clearance. Crisis Intervention skills; Conflict-resolution skills; Record-keeping skills.
