We are actively looking for a Clinical Director to provide clinical and administrative supervision for agency staff.

SAGE's Clinical Director will:

  • Provide staff training on clinical, contractual, and licensure issues
  • Establish and maintain the program curricula for the Outpatient programs
  • Participate in clinical staffing meetings
  • Review and respond to concerns or grievances raised by funding sources or BMFL
  • Provide consultation on program development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Provide consultation on strategic policy development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Follow and enforce all the agency policies and procedures, as outlined in the agency’s various policy documents
  • Review and approve supervisee’s time sheets, mileage logs, and expense reports
  • Participate in management meetings
  • Interview and select, in conjunction with the management team, prospective employees for clinical positions
  • Oversee the appropriate and thorough orientation of new clinical employees
  • Collaborate and maintain positive relationships with the agency’s program administrators, office staff, customers, and regulating agencies
  • Provide direct services, as assigned, and will at those times also assume the duties and responsibilities described in the Clinician job description
  • Is expected to generally be available when agency operations are being conducted either or in person or via phone
  • Perform other duties as needed to ensure effective and safe operation of the agency

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree, or higher, in psychology, counseling, education, social work, criminal justice, human services field
  • Valid professional license by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (BBHE)
  • Five years of experience providing counseling or mental health services
  • Three years of experience in a supervisory position with progressively increasing responsibilities
  • Experience and skills in social services program development and evaluation
  • Thorough knowledge of the BMFL regulations and all requirements of professional clinical services.

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: 85,500 - 105,000/annual
