Your Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to fill the role of a Client Relations and Community Leadership Specialist aimed to help us grow our market share and brand in Arizona. Over time, this role has the potential to expand into a regional scope responsible for growing our business across the US West and beyond. This exceptional candidate will play a key role in growing our business across all Stantec business operating units. The ideal candidate will have established high-level relationships with clients in the region. The ideal candidate will be located in Tucson or Phoenix.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Client Relations and Community Leadership Specialist you will be fully accountable for successfully enhancing our client relations, branding, and community leadership position to further enhance our business in Arizona, while networking with Stantec’s leadership teams. This will include:

• Strengthening existing client relationships, developing new clients, and supporting our Community Engagement efforts and branding.
• Leading and coordinating key business development efforts, including market research, client relationships, developing leads, and securing contracts.
• Supporting the US Public Policy team.
• Working with other business developers, practitioners, and marketing teams within Stantec to assist in growing the business.
• Supporting strategic pursuits.
• Supporting and engaging in Stantec’s Project Management framework.
• Developing and stewarding account plans for major accounts.
• Engaging in account management activities including supporting corporate campaigns and other strategic growth initiatives.
• Developing and maintaining industry relationships and visibility with current and prospective clients, sub-consultants, competitor/teaming partners, and potential recruits.
• Attending selected conferences and maintaining active memberships in relevant associations.
• Monitoring and developing client satisfaction levels.
• Stewarding the content of the Stantec Opportunity Pipeline.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Established client relationships in the public and private sectors
• Experience preparing marketing materials and proposals
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Proven ability to successful obtain new business including identification of leads, capture planning, and managing proposal and presentations
• Established client relationships in the public and private sectors within the region
• Familiarity with industry trends and industry leaders

Your Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years professional experience in marketing and business development within the AEC industry.
