Odyssey House is seeking a Client Engagement Specialist to join our Admissions team!

Location: Salt Lake City

Compensation: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm

Job Description:

  • Providing phone, live chat, and contact form coverage for incoming admission inquiries. This includes sales of programs, pre-admission assessments, and answering pre-admissions/general questions from potential clients, family members, friends, or professional referents.
  • When appropriate, provide treatment recommendations. If the caller (potential patient, family member, friend, or referent) is not suitable for Odyssey House, be prepared to refer out based on presenting issues to establish, and Odyssey House approved referral sources or other addiction and behavioral healthcare providers.
  • Tracking and documenting (in the CRM) the disposition of potential patients from the initial call, hand-off to a facility, up to and including admission, serving as support for facility Intake Coordinators.
  • Conduct timely follow-ups as needed to ensure admission.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude when working with callers/potential patients, members of the call center team, clinical and facility Intake Department.
  • Identify and report new referral source opportunities.
  • Weekly reports and other duties as assigned.
  • Performance is measured by the number of inquiries handled and admissions to the facility.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education/Prior Experience Required:

  • Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in a related field, two years of related employment, or a program graduate recommended by staff for employment. Must have excellent customer service skills and a sales background.
  • Willingness and ability to pass a criminal background check
  • First Aid and CPR Certification (available at Odyssey House)
  • Must comply with annual TB tests, Flu, and other immunizations as required
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen (for federally illegal substances) and be willing to undergo drug screenings as a condition of employment.
  • Must meet employment eligibility
  • Must be able to work variable shifts as needed
