Position Summary:

The Center for Human Development is seeking application for Student Assistant 2. This is a labor pool from which the Center will draw when assistants are needed to work on grant-funded and Center projects. The position will be part time. Incumbents will join faculty and staff who are active in conducting research, training or working on projects. This will include working on one or more funded projects under the guidance of CHD Faculty or Staff.

Duties:

100Assist units within the Center for Human Development towards attainment of their mission which is to improve the quality of lives for people who experience disabilities and their families through training, technical assistance, service development, research and dissemination of information. Duties may include, but are not limited to, any of the following: helping set up a conference, designing marketing/educational materials, creating accessible documents, tabling a conference, general office work (copying, etc.).Essential

Ability to clearly and effectively exchange information through a variety of communication

Varies according to assigned project and Center needs.

Required Education or Training:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must be enrolled as a UA student in a minimum of 6 credits with a minimum of GPA of 2.0 or newly enrolled student.



Salary Information:

This is a part-time, non-exempt student position. New hires will be placed on the UA student salary schedule, Grade 02, or above, based on experience.
