Position: Cath Lab Technologist

• $75/Hour,13 Weeks Contract,40 Hours/week

Shift Info :7:00am-3:30pm Monday - Friday, plus call including weekends

• 1 year of experience as Cath Lab Technologist required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• ARRT required

Job Description

• Operates stationary radiographic equipment in the Heart and Vascular Center to demonstrate anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes.
• Produce quality images as directed by radiologists and physicians for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general anatomy, technical factors, CR and DR imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, and basic computer skills.
• Function to work independently and in a cooperative manner in teamwork oriented atmosphere within the department and hospital wide.
• MUST be able to provide exceptional patient care and satisfaction skills to all customers of the Great River Health.
• Demonstrates competent in X-ray procedures, Fluoroscopy, vascular procedures, cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, and other special procedures.
• Iowa Permit to Practice – Radiography - ARRT Registered
• When on call - must be able to get to the facility within 30 minutes.
