Dinners on the Porch - consisting of The Porch Kitchen & Cantina, Alma Mexicana, and East of Texas (opening soon!) - is a Winston-Salem based restaurant company that brings Tex-Mex style food and fun outdoor dining to the Triad. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic individual who has a desire to work on our catering team to boost catering sales, communicate with customers to schedule and plan orders, work at catering events, and deliver catering orders offsite.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in communicating with customers in regards to catering events through Tripleseat program and in person meetings
• Assist in planning & executing catering events from start to finish
• Gather and organize event materials & supplies for upcoming events and catering orders
• Coordinate onsite pick ups & catering deliveries as needed
• Communicate with the kitchen managers about food orders for upcoming caterings
• Work directly with Catering Director to communicate event expectations & logistics
• Assist Catering Director with other responsibilities as needed
• Assist with marketing objectives and gathering content for social media

Requirements:

• Food and beverage experience
• Catering experience and/or event planning experience, preferred but not required
• Part time hours (20 hours/week - fluctuates seasonally)
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Self-starter, easily adaptable, and works well in a fast paced environment
• Must have access to a computer and reliable internet access

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
