JOB SUMMARY:
Operates cash register in Cafeteria, Cafe Shalom, or Marketplace; receives payments, gives change, and performs related clerical and sales duties depending on assignment.
- Operates cash register, makes correct change, and issues receipts.
- Performs full range of sales duties to actively promote sales; offers assistance, answers questions regarding merchandise hours, etc; suggests items for purchase, explains merchandise and pricing; wraps or bags merchandise.
- Stocks, arranges, straightens, and cleans shelves, other shop areas, and storage area Delivers merchandise from storage area to shop, Receives and unpacks shipments; verifies accuracy inspects items for damage, defects, or spoilage as appropriate.
- Prepares coffee and assembles a limited range of salads/sandwiches.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills.
