Carpenter Helper
We are a residential remodeling company based in Islip, NY, looking for a Carpenter Helper to join our team. As a Carpenter Helper, you will work alongside our experienced carpenters to help with various tasks on job sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about carpentry and looking to learn and grow in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist carpenters with measuring and cutting materials
- Help install all phases of home remodeling from framing to finish work.
- Clean and prepare job sites for work
- Load and unload materials and tools
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some experience in carpentry or construction is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
