JOB TITLE: CALYPSO CONSULTANT

Responsibilities

Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting high performance Calypso data storage systems and complex financial software products on behalf of Fortune 500 clients. Planning and adjustment of Calypso system, the development of existing Calypso products, and the implementation of new Calypso financial products. Testing of interfaces to downstream systems, ensuring input and output was as expected, and where any test-script has failed, raising a bug/defect for the developers/Business Analysts to fix. Responsible for the Calypso reconciliation process to include implementation of scripts and automation of trade import & reconciliation. Liaising between multiple vendors and business units to ensure smooth transition of the workflow. Implement Calypso for Front , Middle and Back Office and provide Calypso solution for all the instruments. Improving Calypso service delivery and quality, in addition to monitoring the entire infrastructure to providing continued support and troubleshooting scripts for Business Support Units. Engaging with senior management on the direction of the project(s). Installation and configuration of Calypso software on the customers evaluation hardware. Working with the client to define the evaluation technical requirements and objectives. Identifying development tasks for junior members of the team, training new staff, and manage the delivery of these items. Project management from implementation to completion. Utilizing Calypso, CATT, FinMechanics, Bloomberg trading tools and knowledge of Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, and Collateral Management.

Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology or related plus five years-experience in the job offered or related position utilizing Calypso Software

The minimum required experience in the job offered or related occupation must include five years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting high performance Calypso data storage systems ; Planning and adjustment of Calypso system, the development of existing Calypso products, and the implementation of new Calypso financial products ; Implementing Calypso for Front , Middle and Back Office and provide Calypso solution for all the instruments, Working with the client to define the evaluation technical requirements and objectives.
