Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical CAD Designer to prepare and maintain engineering or sustaining project design layouts, production drawings, and related documentation in accordance with industry standards.
- As an Electrical CAD Designer, you will consider methods of manufacture, tolerance, and their effect on related parts or assemblies.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Serve as a design engineer for routine/correction.
- Use CAD systems to prepare and maintain electrical and electronic layouts, mechanical product and production drawings, and related documentation, ranging from simple to high complexity, from layouts, sketches, or verbal instructions.
- Ensure the accuracy of assignments, except for design features that are the responsibility of the project engineer.
- Understand drafting methods, standards, and procedures.
- Understand manufacturing processes and techniques and interpret industry standards and procedures.
- Possess basic knowledge of the mechanical and, depending on the seniority, partial to total knowledge of the electrical and electronic product line.
- Maintain status reports on all assigned projects.
Qualifications / Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Science and a minimum of 3 years of direct experience in electrical system packaging design (substrates, component mounting, thermal principles).
- Knowledge of contract manufacturer processes and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effect change through influence.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary: From $60,000.00 per year
