About the role:

The Business Development Representative's (BDR's) main focus is engaging with our prospective customers via our inbound channels to understand their goals, priorities and challenges and determining whether DataCamp's solutions can address those needs. Success in this role is highly dependant on your attention to detail, curiosity, consistency, and professional persistence.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage your daily inflow of leads by reaching out with personalized, relevant outreach in a timely manner
  • Communicate with prospective customers by leveraging all channels: chat, email, LinkedIn and phone calls
  • Qualify leads with intent, curiosity, respect and a high level of urgency
  • Find creative solutions for building up your pipeline when inbound volume may be low
  • Keep our CRM (Salesforce) up to date with activity, lead and account information
  • Stay up to date on the latest industry trends, DataCamp content, product developments and our customers

  • Ability to take initiative and reach autonomy in your responsibilities
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Self-starter who is dedicated, eager, and driven to succeed
  • BA/BS from an accredited university or equivalent
  • Some corporate experience (Software or Ed tech sales is a plus)
