Bus Driver/Activity Aide Job at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago

Essential Functions* of the position are detailed below and include any physical requirements checked below:
1. Ensures the safety of Adult Day Services participants at all times, including but not limited to while transporting participants to and from the site and when assisting the participants with entering and exiting the vehicle.
2. Assists participants into the Adult Day Care Center Site.
3. Operates the vehicle safely, including but not limited to checking fuel level, lights, obeying traffic laws, and not allowing unauthorized riders and will report any problems, malfunctions, and/or accidents in a timely manner.
4. Transports participants to and from the site and scheduled time and as otherwise requested by the supervisor.
5. Ensures that participants are safely in their seats and wearing their seatbelt before moving the vehicle.
6. Perform other duties assigned by Site Director, based on the needs of the Adult Day Care Center.
PLEASE NOTE:* Essential functions include all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
X Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling or standing multiple times a day.
X Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds.
Climb up and down up to flights of stairs at a time.
X Lift up to 35 pounds.
