We are a Bonded Public Work / municipal building and site work general contractor who performs many general construction trades in house, mainly on Long Island but in some NYC boroughs. We are looking for an experienced Brick & Block Mason.

Experienced Responsibilities Required:

o Emphasis on brick pavers, block retaining walls, and concrete flatwork.

o Ability to read plans to understand and layout elevations

o Basic knowledge of foundation and rebar work is also a must

Responsibilities and other duties:

o Asphalt knowledge and experience

o CDL license a plus

o Willing to travel or work off hours (nights, weekends)

o Snowplow experience

Working Environment:

o Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods

o Stoop, kneel or crouch

o Use your hands and fingers to handle, feel or move objects, tools or controls

o Talk, hear, see, read and write

o Use a smartphone, tablet or other device for scheduling

o Use first aid equipment, fire extinguisher and power and hand tools

o Lift, move and carry objects up to 65 pounds

o Work in different weather conditions – Warm, Hot, Cold, Wet, Freezing

o Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights and Holidays a possibility

Required Items:

o Clean NYS license

Tools: You have your own tools and equipment. Specialty tools / are provided as needed
