Box Truck Driver Job at Queen City Industrial Solutions
We are looking to hire a Delivery Services Truck Driver. You will be responsible for driving a box truck to deliver and pick up merchandise or packages. Insure that they deliver to the appropriate person keep up with all paperwork and obtain electronic signatures.

- Deliver goods to people or companies.
- Determine address where package is going.
- Check to see if package is damaged.
- Occasional unloading of merchandise from truck.
- Follow traffic signs and street signs to get to destination.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle by performing pre and post trip inspections as required by DOT.
- Check tires, brakes, lights, and gas.
- Add fuel when running low.
- Monitor traffic conditions to avoid delays.
- Read and interpret maps and GPS directions.
- Ensure inventory loads match shipping papers.
- Have a strong desire to help customers with needs.
Other Responsibilities:
- When loads are not available for delivery, assembling boxes and partitions will be required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Walk distances of up to several hundred yards.
- Maintain a good attitude.
- Overtime may be required based on customer needs.
- Willingness to enter a rotation based call in schedule for early/late/weekend deliveries.
Normal business hours are 7:30 am - 4:00pm.
