Behavior Change Success and Denise Wright Licensed Behavior Analyst PLLC is an agency that provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our supportive, inclusive culture helps every individual reach their highest potential.

We are looking for highly skilled individuals with expertise in ABA and behavior change procedures to provide In School Behavior Consultation and also Parent Training to families in various school districts across Long Island.

A Parent Trainer must be able to commute around Long Island. Most of our cases are in Nassau County, with some in Suffolk. We have many cases in Glen Cove, Massapequa and Copiague as well cases across Long Island.

We are looking for a highly qualified Behavior Consultant with experience consulting in schools.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with teachers and school support staff to review needs
• Learn about issues and concerns as this relates to the child’s diagnosis and challenges.
• Develop goals along with the parent that will address the outlined concerns using a behavioral framework
• Observe children in the school setting, write observation reports, Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Plans
• Provide behavioral guidance to teachers and staff
• Profile behavior training to teachers and staff
• Each provider will be asked to write an annual report to summarize the child’s progress and if possible, attend the annual CSE meeting

Qualifications:

• BCBA or and Licensed Behavior Analyst, Master's in social work, psychology, education or a related field, with behavioral expertise.
• Knowledge of behavior strategies
• Familiarity with Individual Education Plans (IEP)
• Experience in providing behavior consultation and psycho education
