Responsibilities
The Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry are seeking a Physician to join a growing practice located in Elmira, New York. This physician will participate in regional healthcare in the southern tier section of New York to include the Hornell, and Ithaca NY area, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of neurology and neurosurgery providers.
Position responsibilities include:
- Commitment to high quality patient care, clinical support from a team of nurses, clinical technicians, and nurse practitioners, access to multiple subspecialty clinics including neuromuscular, neuroimmunology, memory disorders, movement disorders, sleep medicine, epilepsy, neurooncology, and the comprehensive stroke center.
- Evaluation, treatment, and management of the full spectrum of outpatient neurologic disease.
In concert with his/her clinical duties, it is anticipated that the candidate will actively participate in regional outreach, education activities and CME programs.
Candidates must possess an MD or equivalent and be eligible for a New York State medical license.
Candidates must also be board eligible and trained in adult neurology.
