DFI is a family owned manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging for the food industry. We have been in business for 60 years, without a layoff in our history. As part of the essential food supply chain we have experienced significant growth in the past few years and we are looking for someone to join our team and grow with us.

Our Assistant Office Manager is a multi faceted role. This person will be trained to perform the following duties on a M-F, 8:30-5:30 schedule:

  • Customer service such as answer customer calls, assist with order updates and shipping inquiries
  • Input customer orders, send confirmations
  • Order invoicing
  • Inventory entry and reconciliation
  • Assist with logistics tasks, such as scheduling trucks for outbound orders as well as working with carriers to achieve best rates and meet customers delivery requirements

The assistant manager will be cross trained in our Office Manager duties to fill in during vacations and assist as needed.

Once trained, this role will require one half day Saturday per month to assist with inventory updates to support our weekend manufacturing production.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with a stable job history. Multitasking and great organizational skills are a must. We need someone who has excellent communication skills and a background in customer service and general office duties.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
