Provide exceptional customer service. Performs sales and merchandising related tasks essential to stores operations. Performs management responsibilities specifically delegated by the store manager.
Specific Job Responsibilities (essential functions)
- Assume daily operational responsibility for store in the absence of the store manager
- Assist store manager in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training and supervising of all personnel
- Promote a friendly, enthusiastic relationship between store employees and customers
- Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers
- Share responsibility with store manager for the profitable operation of the store
- Assist with merchandising and safeguarding store inventory
- Assist with promotion of store sales and utilize up-selling techniques as directed by manager
- Respond promptly to supervisor’s guidance regarding store operation and the implementation of suggestions and/or merchandise promotions
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
