HYG is ready to onboard our next-level, mechanically inclined team member who isn’t afraid to use their tools to troubleshoot and repair in our production environment. As a member of our team, the Assembly Modification Technician is responsible for:
1. Testing lift truck performance and identify defects.
2. Performing assembly modifications to lift truck, working from blueprints, wiring diagrams and written and/or verbal instructions.

3. Diagnose and repair any identified defects.
4. Communicate defects to next level leadership to drive process continuous improvement solutions.
4. Adhere to safety/PPE guidelines.
5. Performing preventative maintenance.
6. Maintaining 5S standards.
7. Participating in daily start up meetings.
8. Performing any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical skills
Experience using hand and power tools to replace and repair parts
Experience using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair defects
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalency is required. Associates degree in Automotive Systems Technology or other technical/mechanical program is strongly preferred. Experience in the automotive service industry is highly desirable
