CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Buildings – Sports Team in any of our CHA offices .

CHA brings outstanding technical and design capabilities to address all sports facility needs for colleges, secondary schools, and municipalities. From Division I athletics to large municipal field venues, we bring an exceptional national perspective and experience for both indoor and outdoor facilities.
Our sports expertise includes aquatics, arenas, athletic support, baseball, field hockey, field houses, gymnasiums, ice rinks, natural and synthetic turf, soccer, softball, sports complexes, stadiums, tennis, and track and field. We blend high-quality designs with a modern perspective to create venues that foster unique, personal experiences.
The Architectural Designer applies sound and diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices in all assignments and related fields. This key role plans and develops architectural projects concerning unique or unusual complexities which significantly impact company and/or client programs.
Additionally, the Architectural Designer is responsible for developing design plans in Revit while working with Lead and Jr. Architects. This key role develops work plans to coincide with milestones of a project and coordinates with engineering including MEP, Structural, and Civil.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required, Master’s preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience required, specifically building Revit models
- Computer graphic skills such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop required
- Registered Architect license preferred
- Excellent oral, graphic, electronic, and written communication skills
- Superior interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong ability to work and/or lead in a team environment
- Familiar with QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to architecture
- Ability to travel required (minimal)
