Job Description:
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of duties to assist the Anesthesiologist/Nurse Anesthetist with clinical procedures. Prepares and sets up operating room with required supplies and equipment. Cleans equipment and rooms and restocks supplies and medications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares and sets up operating room with required supplies and equipment.
- Cleans and stocks all operating rooms and supply carts with necessary anesthesia supplies and emergency drugs.
- Cleans and sterilizes all equipment used in the administration of anesthesia.
- Monitors departmental supply levels and orders supplies as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Experience:
- 3 - 6 months
- Minimum Education:
- High School or G.E.D.
- Required Certification:
- Registration ASATT certification
- Physical Demands:
- Heavy physical effort (lift/carry 26 to 50 lbs)
- Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking
- Lifts supplies/equipment
- BLS
