Job Description
Job Requirements
- Works within a deal team under the overall direction of a senior officer.
- Daily responsibilities include: initial transaction due diligence, credit research, comparable debt and enterprise value analysis, preparation of pre-screens and final underwriting approvals for new and proposed financing opportunities, ad-hoc projects, assists with coordinating research efforts and pitch preparation with debt capital markets and other products groups, review and negotiation of loan agreement documents, loan closing and funding, and attending customer meetings.
- Supports investment grade syndication execution for clients in coordination with the agency and credit management teams.
- Researches and analyzes clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and mergers and acquisition opportunities.
- Prepares external client proposals and internal underwriting memos.
- Maintains and develops relationships with other financial institutions to participate in transactions.
- Assists with client negotiations and documentation.
- Establishes an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Bank.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics; Series 7, 79 and 63 preferred, but can be obtained once hired
- Up to one year of related experience
