Job Summary:

  • To assist the member service department with alumnae engagement and administrative tasks, including letters, reports, the membership database and other projects.
  • To build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Executive Offices staff, Council and Leadership.
  • To perform assigned duties in conformity with the Constitution and policies of the Delta Gamma Fraternity and Foundation.


Essential Functions:


  • Support the initiatives of the staff team whose work focuses on alumnae members and alumnae groups.
  • Provide support to alumnae volunteers and staff on the development and initial implementation of new alumnae programs.
  • Support engagement events for alumnae in collaboration with assistant director for alumnae engagement and development, and alumnae directors, including education and outreach.
  • Support the Fraternity’s annual Do Good Week.
  • Support the Fraternity’s annual DGDayIn or DGDayOut.
  • Support the execution of an alumnae-focused contest each biennium in connection with Convention.
  • Oversee the execution of the annual Individual Alumnae Awards process in collaboration with the Operations Department.
  • Oversee the execution of the annual Membership Milestones process in collaboration with the Operations Department.
  • Support alumnae group programming efforts by collecting and sharing ideas for group and collumnae events and initiatives.
  • Seek out opportunities to specifically engage Loyally Anchored members and refresh member benefits package for new enrollees.
  • Oversee the young alumnae communication campaign, including the rollout of marketing Loyally Anchored to recent graduates and their support persons.
  • Monitor Volunteer Interest Form submissions and direct to appropriate volunteers for follow-up.
  • Develop and manage Local Volunteer Needs spreadsheet, to be populated by Advisory Team Chairs, House Corporation Officers and Alumnae Group Officers.
  • Manage database searches and recruitment to assist in filling local volunteer roles.
  • Ensure Volunteer Services Agreements are completed, for new local volunteers, and updated annually for all local volunteers.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive environments where belonging is valued.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or 1-2 years of relevant administrative experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of Delta Gamma Fraternity with experience in both the collegiate and alumnae avenues preferred.
  • Professional demeanor, highly confidential and customer service oriented.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience and confidence with MS-Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel
