Receiving Associate for AKIRA

Due to rapid growth, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic and ready-to-learn Receiving Associate(s).
Job Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Starting Salary: $17.00 an hour
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Essential Functions:
- Unload trucks and floor loaded shipping containers in a timely manner
- Accurately count all boxes that are being unloaded
- Safely palletize boxes by orders to be distributed to correct locations
- Use of an RF scanner to process purchase orders in the system. Accuracy and attention to detail are very important.
- Pull specific sample sizes from our orders and quality check the items.
- Assist with inventory quality assurance.
- Catalog incoming items for reference.
- Cross-train and rotate through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the business.
- Perform all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve daily productivity.
- Promote a culture of respect and an atmosphere of teamwork in order to foster a positive working environment.
- Adhere to company safety guidelines to prevent personal injury and product and facility damage.
Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills and simple math skills
- Ability to lift, push and pull 50 lbs. and can repetitively lift boxes the entire shift
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, including a 8-hour shift
