How you will impact Silgan Dispensing Systems:

• Manages all 3 shifts, a total of 8 to 10 hourly employees and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit
• Ability to problem solve, trouble shoot, and make decisions
• Promote a Zero injury / incident culture
• Identify and develop people to promote within the organization
• Set clear and consistent performance expectations for employees and instill a culture of Accountability
• Ability to properly and fully investigate customer complaints
• Ensure all reviews are fair, consistent and timely across the shift and department.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed by all and actions for non-compliance is fair, consistent and timely
• Fully investigate and determine root cause for accidents/near misses with clear communication to all employees on root causes and expectations

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a metric driven environment preferred
• Systems knowledge including operation of a PC, strong MS Office skills
• 5 years supervisory experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment preferred
• Project management – ability to manage, guide and execute recovery projects

• Ability to make decisions regarding orders and work assignments promptly
• Flexibility in hours to support multi-shift operation

• Must have exceptional leadership and analytical skills
