UF Online TE is part of the Division of Enrollment Management and is under the leadership of the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Associate Provost.

This position serves as part of a centralized team within the Division of Enrollment Management to provide student-focused enrollment services for UF Online students. This position focuses primarily on the evaluation of transfer credit and adding the appropriate credit to the academic record. This position will also assist with academic policy issues; research student transfer credit issues; and communicate with students, academic advisors, and the UF Online Enrollment Services team. The incumbent will be required to remain current in Enrollment Management processes, federal and state updates, as well as new technologies. This position reports to the Transfer Evaluation Manager for UF Online.


Creates and updates academic records for UF Online students by evaluating academic credits from post-secondary transcripts and various test scores. Academic credit include transfer, transient, military, and test credit. This process requires evaluating and recording credit into the student record system and assigning appropriate course equivalencies by independent analysis and decision making. In addition, works with colleges and departments to establish and update transfer course equivalencies and maintain a transfer course equivalency database to provide accurate and consistent awarding of credit. Admissions system (Slate) and student information system (Campus Solutions) are utilized for this database to ensure academic records are converted to the UF course numbering format. Credit evaluation includes several key coding practices including institution type, course level, transferability, and Gordon Rule requirement. Internal university practices and state research studies rely on the accuracy of this coding.

Manages application data in the admissions system, Slate, and the admissions data as it integrates into the student information system, Campus Solutions. Ensures the academic record, program/plan, and registration is up to date.

Responsible for the creation of new organizations (institutions) in Campus Solutions and the synchronization of school data between Slate and Campus Solutions to ensure that all relevant information is up to date.

Answers questions and addresses concerns from staff, academic advisors, faculty, students, and applicants regarding transfer evaluation and general admissions. Logs all questions and issues into Salesforce (Gator 360).

Participates in on-going training to remain current in enrollment management functions including process improvements, university and division policies, and state statutes.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Transfer Evaluation Manager.



Expected Salary:

$40,000 annually



Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.



Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with evaluation of transfer credit.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement.
