With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.

This position is located at the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, Berkeley Community Mental Health Center, 403 Stoney Landing Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461

You will assist and performs standard clerical duties following established methods and procedures here at Berkeley Community Mental Health Center; these duties may include a wide range of typing responsibilities such as preparing, editing and proofreading informational materials. You will help plan and coordinate medical services, such as the admission and discharge of patients, the maintenance of complete medical history files, or guest relations.

Other job duties may include participating in recruiting and employment activities. You will assist/conduct orientation sessions to acquaint new employees with agency policies, procedures, and regulations. You will help with records management responsibilities and performs various duties in class, compensation, and payroll administration.

State:
A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
