Please review the following job description:

Coordinate the timely collection, validation, and distribution of Automated Clearing House (ACH) files utilizing the Bank's mainframe application PEP+ to ensure the stability of the Bank's ACH process and in compliance with National Automated Clearing House Association (Nacha) Rules and federal regulations related to electronic transactions.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Execute mainframe batch jobs and setups for collection and distribution of multiple intra-day ACH batch job processing within the PEP+ mainframe application. Ensure batch jobs sent to Deposits complete timely in order to provide availability of funds throughout the day in compliance with Nacha Rules and federal regulation. Meet established daily deadlines for window processing, balancing, and transmission to the ACH network operators. Maintain compliance with Nacha Rules and federal regulations related to electronic payment processing.

2. Meet established daily deadlines for window processing, balancing, and transmission to the ACH network operators.

3. Reconcile/balance activity following each window and at the end of each processing day. Meet scheduled system release time for mainframe application to support completion of the Bank's end of night processes.

4. Identify file processing problems and begin proper Information Technology (IT) Problem Management escalation processes. Collaborate with management and technical teams through processing resolution.

5. Effectively communicate with external corporate clients, internal departments, and the Bank's ACH operators (The Clearing House and Federal Reserve Bank) to ensure that all ACH files are received and/or transmitted in a timely manner and discrepancies are resolved on the same day.

6. Resolve various forms of ACH exception transactions (e.g. cancellations, deletions, reversals, returns) requiring manual dispositioning within the system to ensure appropriate codes are used for accurate client resolution in accordance with Nacha Rules.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience

2. Ability to work irregular hours on short notice to complete end of night processes, and being designated as a "mission critical" teammate on a rotating schedule in the event of inclement weather or natural disaster and be available to travel to offsite backup facility for testing and recovery operations

3. Ability to work in an area governed by production standards and under pressure to meet critical deadlines

4. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills providing the ability to interact with technical support personnel

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Associate's degree in Business Administration

2. Accredited Automated Clearing House Professional (AAP) certification

3. Supplemental knowledge of Nacha Rules, Bank's mainframe, and Bank's reports software

4. Two years of banking experience
