Position Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Easton, PA

A client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team.

This position is on site 5 days a week, candidates must be commutable to Easton, PA.

Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for maintaining accounting policies and procedures that ensure the highest level of efficiency.
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies.
• Reconciling brand specific sales and receivable accounts.
• Reconciling bank statements to the general ledger and ERP system, while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
• Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts, providing information for auditors.
• Review returns and post credits to customer accounts.
• Post and verify all customer payments from various payment types on a daily basis.
• Perform a daily cash reconciliation to the ERP system for multiple brands.
• Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts, notifying customers of insufficient payments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Proficient knowledge of an ERP system and report writing experience.
• Self-motivated and able to execute independently with the ability to demonstrate sound judgement and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving.
