We are seeking an experienced, collaborative and highly motivated Accountant with a passion for continual process improvement to join our accounting team. In this role, you will be part of the month-end closing process of recording journal entries, identifying and explaining variances to budget and forecast, and verifying balance sheet and income statement are properly stated is performed efficiently, accurately, and on-time.

In this role, you will be part of the month-end closing process of recording journal entries, identifying and explaining variances to budget and forecast, and verifying balance sheet and income statement are properly stated is performed efficiently, accurately, and on-time.
Responsibilities:
As an Accountant, you will:
- Ensure the assets, liabilities and expenses are recorded accurately, timely, in accordance with GAAP, company policies and SOX requirements
- Identify and explain variances to forecast and budget
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts within established policies and timelines
- Provide analysis as requested in response to changing business needs
- Assist key functional areas in understanding financial responsibilities

We seek people with these qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
- 0-2 years relevant general accounting experience preferred
- Strongly preferred: Experience with SAP software (including G/L, Internal Order and BPC Modules)
