THE ROLE

Seeking coaches/peer mentors to work up to 5 days a week at local schools

The ideal candidate needs to be able to complete all physical requirements of the job. Below is a non-exhaustive list of the physical requirements for this role.

  • Needs to have the ability to constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move from one place to another
  • Needs to have the ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, and running
  • Needs to have the ability to move safely on irregular and or uneven terrain

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Engage students in SEL & PE curriculum
  • Certify mandatory instructional minutes required for the program
  • Demonstrate, engage, and participate in games with students
  • Lead groups of students in activities while implementing strong behavior management skills on the field
  • Act as a positive and inspiring role model
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service for all students and school staff
  • Follow COVID 19 protocols outlined by the school

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 18+ years old
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Fully availability
  • 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching or child development strongly preferred
  • 48+ college credits completed
  • Authorized to work in the US
