Come grow with the Soccer Shots Sacramento Southeast team! We are in need of great part-time coaches. We plan to host Soccer Shots sessions in daycares, preschools, community centers, and parks in Elk Grove, Rancho Cordova, Cameron Park and Placerville.

Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program for children ages 2-8 with an emphasis on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication. We coach out of more than 10,000 locations around the U.S. and Canada with more than 780,000 children enrolled annually.

1. ABOUT THE JOB

We provide training, certification, soccer equipment and gear!

| Job Responsibilities |
  • Coach and mange Soccer Shots sessions at daycares, preschools, community centers, and parks. These sessions are 30 to 40 minutes with up to 12 children per session.
  • Deliver the Soccer Shots curriculum and experience which focuses on skill and character development in sessions
  • Positively impact kids at each session
  • Provide a pleasant customer experience to families and/or faculty
  • Arrive on time to your locations/sessions
  • Maintain equipment and manage your class rosters
  • Attend scheduled team meetings
  • Go home knowing you made a difference in a child’s life that day
| Job Schedule Options |
May vary per season:
  • Weekday mornings: 9:00am – 12:30pm, and/or
  • Tuesdays: 3:30pm – 7:30pm, and/or
  • Fridays: 3:30pm – 7:30pm, and/or
  • Saturdays: 9:00am – 12:30pm

| Job Requirements |
  • Responsible: Arrives on time for each session, can handle a group of 6-12 children, keeps accurate attendance, communicates well with Soccer Shots Director, etc.
  • Professional: Neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with day care center staff, directors, and parents, self-assured.
  • Enthusiastic: Must enjoy interacting with young children (2 – 8 years old), and be able to connect with them on their level, making the Soccer Shots class the best 30 - 40 minutes of their week. You must be very outgoing and animated; able to be silly with the children.
  • Caring: Engages with each child through specific and positive affirmation.
  • Working with children: Must be able to engage and interact with 2-8 year olds, and have experience doing so. This is very important.
  • Training & Evaluation: Complete new coaches training, receive coaching evaluations and constructive feedback.
  • Meetings: Attend scheduled team meetings.
| Job Qualifications |
  • Soccer experience is preferred; however, you will thrive if you are good with children
  • Transportation: Must have your own reliable transportation (drive to different locations)
  • Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver license
  • Phone: Mobile phone with data is required
  • Laptop/computer: Access to a laptop or computer for online training and video meetings (Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, etc.)
  • High School diploma
| Job Bonus Qualifications |
  • 12 accredited ECE units in Early Childhood Development
  • Early Childhood Educators or Students

| Job Compensation |
  • Assistant Coaches: $18 per 30–40-minute session after training is complete (20 hours of training at Fifteen dollars per hour)
  • Head Coaches: $22 per 30–40-minute session after training is complete (20 hours of training at Fifteen dollars per hour)
