Winter Hotel Maintenance

This position will work with our Chief Engineer on certain projects for the winter. These projects will be a majority of time be insides the hotel. Carpentry, plumbing, painting, dry wall repair and hanging, along with a few other tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists with monthly preventative maintenance check lists to include the following are properly working: HVAC Units, Laundry Room Equipment, Filters, Kitchen Equipment, Ice Machines, etc.
• Assists with maintenance of the hotels exterior, including grounds and projects.
• Routine maintenance of all areas of hotel- painting, wallpaper, lights, snow removal, furniture repair and air filters and plumbing (tubs, faucets, and drains need to be always working).
• To take care of all equipment and maintenance tools, keep in good working order and put back when job is completed.
• To clean up all areas of work when the job is done.
• Take initiative and complete normal maintenance and upkeep throughout the hotel.

The ideal candidate will have skills including minor electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC and general maintenance experience. Job has on-call responsibilities. Hotel maintenance experience is preferred. You must be detail oriented and work safely and efficiently.

This position will take place over the winter, it can lead into year-round work for the right candidate, must be able to work to the end of March. This position could turn into year round employment for the right canididate, along with being rehired each year after the summer season, we can work with both opportunities for a great employee.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.84 - $22.00 per hour
