Welder Job at Horizon Hydraulics
Responsibilities:
- Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using different welding processes.
- Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding process to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
- Check grooves, angles, or gap allowance using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Setup and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
- Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly using straight edges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understanding technical plans and engineering drawings, Time and project management, Maintaining accuracy. High school diploma. Minimum of 3-4 years of previous welding experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
