Job Title: Weekend Custodian - Part-Time

Branch: Kennett Area YMCA

Location: Kennett Square, PA

Shifts/Availability: Weekends
Starting Pay: $12-$16/ hour

About the YMCA of Greater Brandywine:
The YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW), an association of eight YMCAs serving Chester County, is a non-profit organization committed to nurturing the potential of every child, promoting healthy living and fostering social responsibility through life-changing programs for all.

Position Purpose: The Kennett Area YMCA is looking for a Custodian to maintain the overall cleanliness of the facility and to be responsible for the cleanliness of our locker rooms, childcare and other various spaces.

Responsibilities:
Understand and perform custodial functions
Maintain a safe environment for members, participants and general public while performing work duties
Assist with room set up and breakdown
Assist with occasional grounds maintenance tasks
Evaluate and report any health, safety or cleanliness issues to supervisor

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:
Demonstrate knowledge of basic custodial equipment and functions
Ability to relate well with staff and general public
Must be 18 years of age or older male

Must have HS diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year experience required
