General Summary:

Responsible for the supervision of all department employees and ensures compliance with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards. Uses independent judgment and exercises discretion in executing duties. Coaches, mentors, trains, and motivates the team to achieve performance excellence.

What is the Job?

· Provide supervision to all personnel and manufacturing operations within the department

· Provide a clean and safe work environment

· Ensures all quality measurements are accomplished

· Attain maximum production efficiency

· Performs employee corrective and/or disciplinary action

· Documenting daily production and downtime summaries

· Provide recommendations to Extrusion Manager on process improvements

· Conduct employee performance reviews

What You Bring:

• Acquired an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in management field and/or knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Proven ability to lead a team
• Knowledge in reading blueprints and parts drawings
• Strong understanding of production and quality processes beneficial
