We are looking to fill a seamstress position in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. We provide our brides with a stylish, modern approach to alterations, heirloom revamps, custom designs and accessories.

Full-time positions available. All positions offered with the potential for growth within the company. Only candidates with demonstrated alterations and/or wedding/formal garment construction experience will be considered. Ideal candidates are experienced with delicate laces and silks as well as beaded materials, crepe, and tulle.

Must be efficient, detail oriented, and comfortable with industrial sewing machines. A positive, collaborative attitude and a desire to continuously learn, grow, teach and contribute to the alteration team’s expertise are important qualities in candidates. Candidates with fluency in English are ideal.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent technical sewing and fitting skills
• Experience working on fine bridal fabrics (especially crepe, silk, beading and lace)
• Ability to work on industrial sewing machines and sergers
• Hand sewing
• Must be an expert with zippers, buttons, and other finishings
• Some experience with beading and rhinestones is a plus
• Pattern making a plus

All staff and customers are required to wear masks when on the sales floor, and the space is cleaned every evening.
