Website Development Manager

Position Overview

The Website Development Manager is primarily responsible for helping HHP to develop, deploy and maintain our Ecommerce website as the business evolves and needs continue to expand. We are looking for a candidate with Marketing Experience, Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, HTML5 and CSS, E-Commerce experience, Web Programming and a Bachelor's degree. If you do not have JavaScript, HTML, HTML5 and CSS experience, you will not be considered for this position.

Tactics:

  • Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
  • Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
  • Directing or performing Website updates.
  • Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
  • Editing, writing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.
  • Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
  • Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
  • Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
  • Knowledge of API data feeds and mapping vendor data feed

Required Results:

  • Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.
  • Candidates must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
  • The position requires constant communication with colleagues and experience.
  • Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
  • Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API’s, plus with backend integration to Netsuite,
  • Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services is needed to be successful in this position.
  • Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Web development or related field, or relevant experience.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS (required)
  • E-Commerce such as shopify or BigCommerce: 3 years (required)
  • Backend Netsuite Integration: preferred
  • Web Programming: 3 years (required).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
  • High degree of independent judgment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
